Our oceans are becoming increasingly polluted, which has a negative impact on marine life, the economy, and public health. By developing, deploying, and scaling up global cleanup technologies, the organization *The Ocean Cleanup* aims to remove 90% of floating plastic by 2040. Since they cannot do this alone, Umenco GmbH supports this mission by donating 1% of its net profit to *The Ocean Cleanup*.
